what I eat in a day: November 2019

I thought it might be fun to do a post on what I eat in a day. I get asked often what I eat, if I snack much, etc. First off. I don't count calories, I don't count macros. I just eat when I'm hungry and I try to eat Whole Foods and higher quality meats. I usually eyeball my food and eat until I am satisfied. This works for me and I feel like my relationship with food is in a good place.

I do enjoy fasting at times and will dabble in the occasional whole30. The health benefits are insane when fasting which is why I drink black coffee at times in the morning so that my first meal isn't until later in the day.

dairy free salsa verde chicken tacos

my girlfriend sent me a recipe that looked really easy and delicious but it had dairy in it so I tried substituting with kite hill's almond milk cream cheese and while I have no idea what the other recipe tastes like this one was bomb! So sooooo good and had a kick to it. I also added chicken thighs instead of chicken breast since breast are always more watery which I don't love. Anyway, I hope your enjoy this one!
