Nutty Coconut Balls

When I was making these, my dad and I said they look a lot like buckeyes. If you're from the south then you know about this yummy holiday treat. Although they look similar the ingredients are not. They are packed with yummy, filling ingredients like mixed nuts, fibrous chia seeds and flax seeds to help flush out toxins.

I am freezing these for quick snacks to have while breastfeeding and to also happily pass out to two begging toddlers. haha 

Nutty Coconut Balls


2 cups mixed raw nuts - sprouted walnuts, cashews, and macadamia
1/4 cup coconut shreds
9 large dates
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup melted coconut oil
2 cups almond flour
1 cup cassava
1/2 tbsp flaxseed
1 tbsp chia seeds
sprinkle with pink salt, cinnamon, cardamom


Throw all ingredients into the food processor blend until dough forms. Dip into dark chocolate and then dip into coconut shreds.
